During the fall of 2016, I found myself pursuing future career opportunities that left me uninspired and yearning for something more meaningful at the end of each day. Rather than simply putting my head down through the rest of engineering school and expecting the life I had dreamt of to be waiting on the other side, I asked myself what it was that I really wanted to chase down. Tired of pursuing photography at half speed, I decided it was time to turn my path in a new direction. I learned that if there was something I wanted bad enough for myself, it was my responsibility to reorganize my environment and actions rather than wait for a golden opportunity to fall in my lap. Migration represents my pursuit of what I feel deep inside.
So here's to believing in myself, investing in my talents, following the path which feels right and not looking back.
